Concert of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra at EXPO
To mark the forthcoming conclusion of another successful presentation of the Republic of Croatia at World Expositions, the Croatian Pavilion is organizing a concert of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.
The best known Croatian orchestra will perform at the EXPO Hall on September 10th, from 6.30 PM. Conducted by maestro Vjekoslav Šutej, the Zagreb Philharmonic with soloist Ivo Dropulić will play works of Sorkočević, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Dvorak. During the EXPO 2005, as part of the Croatian cultural presentation, the Croatian Pavilion has already organized performances of folk song and dance ensemble Lado, harmony singing group Nostalgija, ballet troupe Croatia, Zagreb String Quartet and Tamara Obrovac & Transhistria Ensemble.
