Number of Japanese Tourists in Croatia Doubled as a Result of EXPO

According to the Central Bureau Of Statistics’ data, published by the Ministry of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development, in first seven months of 2006 number of Japanese tourists in Croatia more than doubled, if compared to the same period last year.

Such increase represents the biggest rise of arrivals from any other country, and undoubtedly confirms the importance of World Expositions as an exceptional means of tourist promotion.
