National day of the Republic of Croatia on EXPO Zaragoza 2008 will be celebrated on 29 June. The Croatian Delegation visiting EXPO Zaragoza 2008 will be headed by the President of the Republic Mr. Stjepan Mesić.
On the official ceremony at the EXPO 2008 Congress Center Croatian a capella singers Klapa Sinj will perform. In the evening (19:00 – 20:30) Croatia will present itself with two performances on the Balcony of Cultures: the performance of a capella singers Klapa Sinj and the dance performance of ensemble Liberdance.
The celebration of the Croatian national day will continue in Zaragoza city centre, where Zaragoza’s new exhibition centre Cubit will be inaugurated with opening of an exhibition Seafaring on the Croatian Adriatic (La tradición marítima en el Adriático croata).
At the same time Academica Cravatica will install huge red ties, on two locations on Zaragoza’s main square, Plaza del Pilar.
In the evening the delegation will visit the ruins of the antic theatre of Caesaraugusta (The Caesaragusta Theatre Museum), where guests will enjoy the performance of a capella singers Klapa Sinj and the drummers from Bajo Martin, typical for the area of Aragon.
