A convention of Section Commissioners of all participating countries (95) of the World Exhibition EXPO 2008 was held in Zaragoza on June 5 and 6. On that occasion participation contracts were signed by the Organizer of the Exhibition (Sociedad Estatal Expoagua Zaragoza 2008 S.A.) and the participating countries. At the convention the College of Section Commissioners was founded. The College of Section Commissioners will be the supreme body which will supervise the work of the World Exhibition. Rolando Borges Martins, the Section Commissioner of Portugal, was elected the chairman of the College. Section Commissioners visited the future EXPO Site and were assured of the good progress of works.
