It is expected that during the 92 days EXPO 2008 will be visited by more than 7 million people. In addition to pavilions of 105 participating  countries, EXPO 2008 features pavilions of United Nations, European Union and all Spanish regions, as well as a number of themed pavilions such as the Water Tower, Bridge Pavilion, Aquarium and other.

On the first day of the Exposition the Croatian pavilion opened its doors to the visitors. Croatia is presenting itself in Zaragoza with the project A Drop of Water, a Grain of Salt, that made a great success at the Aichi EXPO three years ago. The project of Damir Fabijanić, Dalibor Martinis and Studio 3LHD, although designed for the theme of the Aichi EXPO Nature’s Wisdom, perfectly fits the theme of EXPO Zaragoza 2008 Water and Sustainable Development.
