At the meeting held on April 5, the Croatian Government accepted the invitation of the Kingdom of Spain for the participation on the World Exhibition EXPO 2008 in Zaragoza. Thus, Croatia became the 82nd country to confirm the participation.
EXPO 2008 will take place from June 14 to September 14 in the capital of the Spanish region of Aragon and the theme will be Water and Sustainable Development. The exhibition in Zaragoza will be the fourth exhibition on which Croatia participates since its independence – after Lisbon 1998, Hanover 2000 and Aichi 2005.
